CID summons Fr. Cyril Gamini Fernando

Colombo, April 17 (The reporter ) – Fr. Cyril Gamini Fernando, a member of the Communications Committee of the Archdiocese of Colombo, has been summoned by the CID for questioning on Friday, April 19.
Fr. Fernando, who also serves as the editor of the Sinhalese Catholic Weekly Gnanartha Pradeepya, stated that the CID has summoned him believing he possesses information pertinent to the Easter Sunday attacks.
This isn’t Fr. Fernando’s first summons; he was previously called in by the CID from November 3 to 8.
